History
Neighbouring town at the south Epernay, Pierry is one of the most famous sites of Champagne history, thanks to his works. Friar Oudart, lay Brother, helped the Champagne wine to establish its pedigree. Form this wine on, Pierry inherited the most beautifuk houses of the 18th century.
Champagne Lenique was founded in 1768 during the reign of Louis XV by Alexandre Lenique who was the son of Nicolas Lenique, cellar foreman at Cimières in 1718.
In 1960, Michel Lenique created his own brand and then enabled his children to loarn his skills and work with him : his son-in-law Bertrand Robinet started working with him in 1980, his son Alexandre Lenique in 2000.
